Keithley 2182A Nanovoltmeter – Precise measurements with low noise and high speed
The Keithley 2182A nanovoltmeter enables high-speed, low-noise measurements, typically with only 15 nV (p-p) noise at a response time of 1 second and 40–50 nV (p-p) at 60 milliseconds. The integrated delta measurement function coordinates measurements with a reversing current at up to 24 Hz, achieving a typical noise level of 30 nV (p-p) for a single measurement. Averaging multiple readings further reduces noise.
Synchronization to the line frequency ensures an impressive common-mode rejection of 110 dB, minimizing the effects of AC interference. The two independent channels allow for precise measurement of voltage, temperature, or the ratio of an unknown resistance to a reference resistance. The device also features built-in thermocouple linearization and cold junction compensation, enabling accurate temperature measurements.
The Keithley 2182A is therefore an indispensable instrument for precise, fast and reliable measurements in the nanovolt range – ideal for research, materials testing and highly sensitive applications.
