Keithley 2400 Series – Precise, versatile, powerful
The Keithley 2400 SourceMeter® SMU series combines the functionality of five instruments in a single compact instrument—a voltage source, current source, voltage measurement, current measurement, and resistance measurement. This powerful series is ideal for precise IV characterization, materials testing, component sorting, and automated testing.
With a selection of five model variants, the series offers flexible power ranges from 20 to 100 W DC, up to 1000 W pulsed, and voltage resolutions down to 1 µV. Thanks to the 4-quadrant functionality, both current and voltage can be actively sourced and consumed—ideal for demanding applications.
The devices deliver a base measurement accuracy of 0.012% at 6.5-digit resolution and support for 2-, 4-, and 6-wire measurements, including remote sensing for maximum precision. With a measurement speed of up to 1700 readings per second (at 4.5 digits via GPIB) and integrated features such as pass/fail comparators and DIO control for automation, the series is ideally suited for high-throughput applications.
The devices can be flexibly integrated into existing test environments via GPIB, RS-232, and Keithley Trigger Link. Additionally, the intuitive KickStart software enables a quick start – free for 60 days.
