Keithley 2657A – High-voltage SMU for precise power tests up to 3,000 V
The Keithley 2657A SourceMeter® SMU is specifically designed for high-voltage applications, delivering exceptional performance and precision in a single, integrated instrument. With the ability to source or sink up to 180 W of DC or pulsed power—at up to ±3000 V (20 mA) or ±1500 V (120 mA)—the 2657A is ideal for testing power devices such as SiC and GaN devices.
The low current resolution of 1 fA enables extremely precise measurements even at the smallest currents. Equipped with dual 22-bit precision ADCs and dual 18-bit digitizers with a 1 µs sampling rate per point, the device offers a combination of the highest measurement accuracy and fast acquisition of transient signals.
As a fully TSP®-compliant instrument, the 2657A integrates seamlessly into complex test systems, especially with the other models in the Keithley 2600B System SourceMeter series.
The 2657A combines the functions of a precise current source, voltage source, DMM, pulse generator, 18-bit electronic load, signal generator, and trigger controller—all in one compact, powerful device.
