Keithley Model 7078-TRX – High-quality, low-impedance triaxial cable for sensitive measurement applications
The Keithley 7078-TRX is a low-noise triaxial cable featuring a three-pin male triaxial connector at both ends. It is specifically designed for low-current, high-impedance measurements where maximum shielding, low leakage currents, and minimal contact resistance are critical.
With an insulation strength of up to 10¹³Ω and a working range of up to 600V (peak) between the inner conductor and the inner shield, as well as 1300V peak to the outer shield, the 7078-TRX offers the highest electrical integrity for precision applications. Contact resistance below 1Ω and a maximum current carrying capacity of 1A guarantee stable and reliable connections even under demanding conditions.
Available in a variety of lengths—from 0.5 ft (15 cm) to 20 ft (6 m)—the cable can be optimally adapted to your measurement environment. To ensure consistently high insulation performance, the mating area should be kept free of dirt, oil, or other contaminants. If necessary, cleaning with methanol and thorough drying is required.
