Current probes
Tektronix current probe solutions are characterised by the following features:
- broadest range of current probes for both AC/DC and AC only
- measuring accuracy from uAs to 2,000 A
- best bandwidth of up to 120 MHz in its class
- best current clamp sensitivity in the industry at an astonishingly low 1 mA
- the only products with a safety certificate issued by a third party (UL, CSA, ETL)
- the only products with bare wire nominal voltage
- automatic display and scaling when used with Tektronix oscilloscopes. This means that you do not have to convert the voltage values into current values or set the scaling manually.
TCP300 Series/TCP400 Series
The TCP300 and TCP400 series AC / DC current measurement family is an advanced current measurement system for today's current measurement requirements. When connected to Tektronix oscilloscopes with TEKPROBE Level II, TekConnect (with TCA-BNC) or TekVPI (with TPA-BNC) interfaces, current measurements and calculations are simple and straightforward.
The TCPA300 amplifier offers a wide range of current measurement capabilities when used with TCP312A, TCP305A or TCP303 probes, spanning the gap between low level milliamp measurements to very high current levels. These three probes offer current measurement capabilities of 30 A, 50 A and 150 A DC continuous. For even higher current levels, the TCPA400 amplifier with the TCP404XL current probe measures 500 A DC continuous and 750 A DC continuous, reduced with the duty cycle.
