Passive voltage probes are supplied as standard with most oscilloscopes and represent a cost-effective multi-purpose probe solution. In general, the performance of these probes is lower than that of an active voltage probe. However, they have the robustness and wide dynamic range that make them ideal for visualizing signals in a variety of applications. - Minimal load on the probe due to the industry's best input capacitance of an astonishingly low 3.9 pF

- Automated probe compensation, which means that a compensation screwdriver is no longer required
