Micsig RCP Series – Flexible Rogowski current probes for high current and high frequency measurements
The Micsig RCP series was specifically developed for non-contact measurement of high-frequency alternating currents up to 6000A (peak). With a bandwidth of up to 30MHz and minimal insertion impedance, this Rogowski current probe is ideal for precise current analysis without affecting the device under test (DUT).
The heart of the RCP series is the ultra-flexible, 1.6mm thin Rogowski coil with clip closure – perfect for tight measurement environments. It can be easily wrapped around the terminals of TO-220 semiconductors or hard-to-reach conductor traces, enabling particularly precise measurements in complex setups. conductor
With a typical measurement accuracy of 2%, the RCP series reliably measures even fast, highly dynamic currents – for example, during double pulse testing or when monitoring the current of semiconductor switches in power electronic systems. The virtually zero insertion impedance significantly minimizes measurement errors and interference with the test system.
The standard BNC interface ensures easy connection to all common oscilloscopes. The compact, flexible design is ideal for hard-to-reach areas and can be customized as needed—e.g., with custom coil diameters for specific test requirements.
