Micsig RCP Series – Flexible Rogowski current probes for high-current and high-frequency measurements
The Micsig RCP series has been specially developed for non-contact measurement of high-frequency alternating currents up to 6000 A (peak). With a bandwidth of up to 30 MHz and minimal insertion impedance, this Rogowski current probe is ideal for precise current analysis without affecting the system under test (DUT).
The heart of the RCP series is the ultra-flexible Rogowski coil with clip fastening, which is only 1.6 mm thick – perfect for confined measurement environments. It can be easily guided around the connection pins of TO-220 semiconductors or hard-to-reach conductor tracks, enabling particularly precise measurements in complex structures.
With a typical measurement accuracy of 2%, the RCP series also reliably detects fast, highly dynamic currents – e.g. in double pulse tests or when monitoring the current of semiconductor switches in power electronic systems. The virtually zero insertion impedance significantly minimises measurement errors and reactions on the test system.
The standard BNC interface ensures easy connection to all common oscilloscopes. The compact, flexible design is ideal for hard-to-reach areas and can be customised as required – e.g. with individual coil diameters for special test requirements.
