EA-PUB 10000 4U – Bidirectional DC power supply with energy recovery up to 30kW
The EA-PUB 10000 4U series from EA Elektro-Automatik is the ideal solution for modern test and simulation tasks that require both power input and power consumption. As a bidirectional DC power supply, it operates in two quadrants—as a source and as an electronic load—enabling particularly flexible use in laboratories, test benches, and industrial applications.
With up to 30kW of power per unit, a voltage range of 0–2000V, and currents up to 1000A, the series covers a wide range of applications. During load operation, excess energy is fed back into the grid using renewable energy, with an efficiency of up to 96% – sustainable, efficient, and economical.
The integrated autoranging technology ensures that voltage and current are automatically adjusted as needed – without manual switching. Four precise control modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) with fast crossover behavior are available. High-resolution digital control with 16-bit ADCs/DACs and three selectable control speeds (Normal, Fast, Slow) enable precise, dynamic control.
The series can also be integrated into large-scale system solutions via the galvanically isolated Share bus or in master-slave operation with up to 64 devices. Established control protocols such as SCPI, ModBus, LabVIEW, and IVI are supported for seamless integration into automated test environments.
