The BT 20000 TRIPLE series battery test systems from EA Elektro-Automatik offer a state-of-the-art solution for demanding testing and simulation tasks in battery technology. With a wide input voltage range from 208 V to 480 V AC (3-phase) and integrated active power factor correction (typically 0.99), the series impresses with its maximum energy efficiency and flexibility.
Thanks to their 2-quadrant functionality, the devices enable both charging and regenerative discharging with energy fed back into the grid, which not only reduces operating costs but also protects the environment. With an efficiency of over 96%, output and input voltages from 0 to 920 V, power outputs of up to 10 kW per channel, and currents up to 600 A, the BT 20000 TRIPLE series covers a wide range of applications.
Flexible autoranging output stages combined with various control modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) and fast crossover behavior provide precise control under a wide range of load conditions. The 16-bit digital control with selectable dynamics (Normal, Fast, Slow) ensures maximum accuracy.
A galvanically isolated share bus and a master-slave bus are available for parallel operation. The devices feature integrated interfaces with 1 ms communication speed and support for SCPI, ModBus, LabVIEW, and IVI. Battery tester functionality, including test modes and battery simulation, is integrated as standard – ideal for research, development, and quality assurance of modern energy storage systems.
